Questions
193-196
refer to the following article.
A survey done by the University of
Tokyo for Oriental Agriculture regarding business people revealed the
following: A study involving the health claims of 4,000 staff indicated that
men who travelled made 80% more health claims than those who didn’t, whereas
women who travelled made only 18% more claims than those who didn’t.
In a separate survey of 400 business
travellers by Sarim Consultants for Asian Imports, however, it was found that
women reported feeling more stress than men when they travel. Women are more
concerned about personal obligations they’ve left behind (60% women; 35% men)
and about work not getting done at the office (85% women; 65% men). Women also
feel more pressured to perform their jobs while on the road (58% women; 44%
men)

Questions
197-200 refer
to the following announcement.
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
reminds that tax forms must be filed by April 15. If you find yourself
running out of time to file your tax return by this deadline, you can get an
automatic four-month extension by filling Form 4868. This must, however, be
mailed by April 15 and will give you only until August 15 to file your
return. This allows you to delay in filling your return, but not in paying
all of the taxes due. Interests and penalties continue to accumulate if you don’t
pay. Should you not have sufficient funds to cover taxes owed, you can ask to
pay all or some portion of what you owe in monthly instalments by using Form
9465. You will be notified in thirty days if your request has been granted. If
you miss the August 15 deadline too, you can then file Form 2688, as long as
you can prove reasonable cause to the IRS. You must make it a policy to stay
in touch with the IRS. Form 8822 is available if you need to change your
address. That way, you will continue to receive tax return package or any
notices from the IRS that require a prompt reply.
