EXERCISE V6 Thinking about the synonyms
Some words are similar in
meaning but have important differences. For example, both smolder and blaze mean to burn. However,
smolder means to burn slowly without flames,
whereas blaze means to burn strongly with high flames.
Look at the synonyms that you
wrote on your note cards. Write the differences in their meanings.

Some words have two or more
meanings that are completely different. Look at your note cards. Identify the
