These immigrants hoped to find work in Singapore (1) ________ to make a new life. Lots of new shops and houses were built (2) ________ they were not very organized. Stamford Raffles returned to Singapore in 1822 (3) ________ he realized that the city needed to be organized. In summer there are lots of 'visiting' birds. These birds come to the Arctic because there is a lot of food to eat in the sea water.
