EXERCISE 11. Practicing Irregular verbs. Directions: In order to practice using the past participles of irregular verbs, ask and answer questions that use the present perfect. Work in pairs, in groups, or as a class. Speaker A: Ask a question beginning with "Have you ever .....?" Speaker B: Answer the question, using the present perfect. Add another sentence about the topic if you wish. Example: eat at the student cafeteria SPEAKER A: Have you ever eaten at the student cafeteria? SPEAKER B: Yes, I have. I've eaten there many times. In fact, I ate breakfast there this morning. OR No, I haven't. I usually eat all my meals at home.
(Switch roles if working in pairs.)
